APPLE AND FIG PORRIDGE

This breakfast recipe is prefect for those cold autumnal mornings, providing you with all the nutrients to give you the best start for your day! Its not time consuming and I guarantee it will keep you full all morning,

Recipe-

1/2 Cup organic porridge oats (if possible)12188668_719288194837995_1769554778_n

1 Cup coconut and rice milk (or 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup milk)

1 apple chopped (and peeled if preferred)

2 Figs chopped

2tsp Coconut sugar

Sprinkling of Flax seeds

  1. 12188612_719288184837996_1870235618_nPrepare your fruit, then add Oats, Milk (or water) and diced apples into a pan and bring to boil.
  2. Once boiling turn down to a medium heat to allow it to simmer until your porridge reaches your desired thickness.
  3. Add the figs just before serving, then pour the content of the pan into your bowl, add the coconut sugar and flax seeds, stir to combine and your done!
