This breakfast recipe is prefect for those cold autumnal mornings, providing you with all the nutrients to give you the best start for your day! Its not time consuming and I guarantee it will keep you full all morning,
1/2 Cup organic porridge oats (if possible)
1 Cup coconut and rice milk (or 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup milk)
1 apple chopped (and peeled if preferred)
2 Figs chopped
2tsp Coconut sugar
Sprinkling of Flax seeds
- Prepare your fruit, then add Oats, Milk (or water) and diced apples into a pan and bring to boil.
- Once boiling turn down to a medium heat to allow it to simmer until your porridge reaches your desired thickness.
- Add the figs just before serving, then pour the content of the pan into your bowl, add the coconut sugar and flax seeds, stir to combine and your done!
